Pork, bacon and ham carrying the Little Red Tractor stamp of approval have been produced to stringent standards set out by
Assured British Pigs. Farmers care for their animals by following the Five Freedoms welfare code.
Vets make quarterly inspections to check that the standards are being met on-farm. These are backed up by independent inspectors who make checks on the whole of the food chain, visiting farmers, hauliers and pork processors once a year.
